I would be honored to paint a portrait that will help you keep your pet’s memory alive. Whenever I paint, I put my heart into it so that every time the customer looks at the portrait, they can feel their pet's presence and soul again.
Your portrait will arrive between 2-3 weeks after purchase. It may take up to 4-5 weeks for your order to arrive during peak holiday seasons.

If you followed the photo guidelines, then yes, your photo is very likely good enough to use.
My assistant, Emil, is checking the photos as orders are placed. If there's an issue with your photo, he'll let you know quickly via SMS.
If we need a new photo from you, this may lengthen your delivery time by a few days.
In an effort to get your order to you as efficiently as possible, I do not offer artwork previews or proofs. But don't worry! If your provided photo won't make the best portrait, we’ll reach out to you for a new one. Be sure to review Image Guidelines here
All portraits are sent unframed, so in order to hang yours on the wall, you will have to place it in a painting frame.
I paint on a thick paper material that has a nice glossy finish but not too shiny.
I use watercolors, and more specifically aquarelle technique is my specialty. It is my go-to technique because of the quality aquarelle art has to look fresh and spontaneous.
If clients ask me to use other techniques because they want their portraits to have a certain look, I am flexible. Apart from aquarelle, I am proficient in mixed media techniques, which combine watercolor, gouache, pencil, white ink, and pastel.
Yes! I am are happy to help with changes to your pet portrait order as long as you reach out to info@romalenaart.com within 24 hours of your order being placed.
After 24 hours most changes, including address updates, can no longer be made. Please note, in some cases, changes to orders may result in shipping delays.
Currently, I do not offer gift wrapping.
But all portraits come sealed in opaque protective packaging, so the surprise won't be ruined upon delivery!
All orders are sent with DHL Express. DHL Express is a reliable shipping method that delivers worldwide within 2-5 business days.
Please allow a longer delivery time during holiday periods.

As soon as your portrait is painted and dry, I will carefully roll it into a sturdy cardboard tube and ship it with DHL Express.
Yes! Proud pet parents from all over the world can order a custom handmade watercolor portrait. Delivery time for international orders is the same as for all US, Canada and Australia orders - 2-5 working days. Plus, all orders are shipped with a tracking no matter which country they are being sent to.
One cardboard tube can contain up to three portraits. More than three portraits will need to be packaged in two tubes. However, your portraits will all be shipped at the same time, no matter how they are packaged.
In the unlikely event your painting didn't arrive in perfect condition, I'll paint a new portrait free of charge.
